Great news! As I wrote in my post on fundraising last month, we recently purchased a new garage tent and I was requesting a donation from my employers to cover the cost.

And I have had good news – they have given us a donation of £600!

I’ve always been impressed by their commitment to local communities. They give me both half a day off every month to use for my Scouting(time off which is available to all employees, plus they also arrange volunteering opportunities for those who don’t, unlike me, already have their own) and they also allow me to request a donation every year.

Corporate Social Responsibility is something to which few forms are truly commited. I’m very lucky that my employer, KPMG, is of one of the few who are.
